Welcome to Day Four of the Good Design Awards Week!
Today we announce Award Winners in our Communication Design, Engineering Design and Social Impact design disciplines.
Special Accolades announced today include the Michael Bryce Patron’s Award and Good Design Australia’s Women in Design Award.
Congratulations to all the Award Winners announced today and tune in tomorrow morning for the final day of the 2021 Good Design Awards Week as we reveal the 2021 Good Design Award of the Year - the highest design honour in the country, the 2021 Good Design Award for Sustainability and the coveted 2021 Good Design Team of the Year.
The Good Design Award Winner accolade is presented to projects which in the view of the Jury represent best practice design and intelligent use of design principles.
The Good Design Award Gold accolade is awarded to entries that have not only met the criteria for Good Design, but exceed them. Projects recognised at this level are considered stand-out projects within the category.
The Good Design Award Best in Class accolade represents the pinnacle of design excellence in each sub-category and the very best projects within the Awards.
From a record 933 projects submitted to the Australian Good Design Awards this year, only 29 of the most outstanding projects qualified for the coveted Good Design Award Best in Class accolade.
We hope you will be as inspired by these ground-breaking products, products and services as we and the Jury were this year.
Each year Good Design Australia presents a number of Special Accolades within the annual Australian Good Design Awards.
These Special Accolades recognise, reward and celebrate projects, individuals and teams whose philosophy has demonstrated a commitment to design excellence and whose work has made a significant impact to the design industry and helps to shape a better, safer and more prosperous world.
